“We, the public, would be certifiable, were we to take the word of western leaders at face value, without a shred of evidence to support their current anti-Russian focus.”
“Since July 8, Israel has killed 569 Palestinians, 110 of whom were children. 76% were civilians. In the same period of time, Palestinians have killed 28 Israelis, none of whom were children. 7% were civilians.”

“Contrary to U.S. media spin, the violence didn’t begin when the three Israelis were abducted and killed in June. From January to June of this year, Israeli forces abducted at least 2,330 Palestinians, and killed approximately 30 Palestinians, 4 of whom were children. But Americans didn’t hear about it because the media didn’t think their lives mattered.”

Never in my lifetime have we been subject to such a barrage of blatant, emotive, propaganda from the BBC and other organs of the media, regarding the tragic and criminal act of bringing down flight M17, whilst virtually ignoring the unforgivable war crimes being perpetrated by the Israeli state against the people of Gaza, the latest statistics of which are given above.
No opportunity was lost to highlight allegedly disreputable action by the eastern separatists – leaving bodies, interfering with bodies, destroying evidence, denying access, stealing from the dead, refusing to hand over the “black box”- whether grounded in truth or not. This complimented heart-rending “human interest” stories of the bereaved, including personal letters to Mr Putin from those who lost loved ones as on the Jeremy Vine Radio 2 programme. Not only the content but the mawkish tone was in stark contrast to the reporting of the equally devastating Gaza violence and fatalities.
It is an outrageous insult to our intelligence to blame Putin and his separatists, before one iota of reliable information had become available. To date the ONLY reliable information has come from the Russian side, represented by western media outlets, as did the “Huffington Post”, as “bizarre”, quite the reverse of the truth.
Again, as we saw indiscriminatingly with MH 370, despite having satellite intelligence, the Americans have released nothing of value besides unsubstantiated allegations, slurs, threats and photographs of dubious reliability.
(I notice the Americans are now back-tracking on their accusations, accepting that it might have been inexperienced Ukrainia troops who fire a missile “by accident”)
However both America and the EU on this wave of irrational emotion, intensify their rhetoric and sanctions. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28338897
It is reported that more than 1,000 civilians and combatants have been killed since mid-April, when Ukrainian security forces moved to regain control of the eastern regions, while tens of thousands of people have been displaced.
Now it is claimed two Ukrainian military jets have been shot down by air-to-air missiles. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28454735 The confrontation is clearly worsening and requires serious disengagement that both Americans and Russians could insist upon should they wish. That they do not is telling and deeply worrying.
Britain and America cannot escape the shadow of the “Dodgy Dossier”, the fraudulent “proof” of weapons of mass destruction presented to the United Nations, nor indeed of the whole 9/11 tower of lies and cover-up. We, the public, would be certifiable, were we to take the word of western leaders at face value, without a shred of evidence to support their current anti-Russian focus.
Sadly we are now in an era when scepticism is both necessary and justified, and somehow or other the actors in this theatre of the absurd need to be made to recognise that the voting electorate (for so long as a democracy remains) will not tolerate it.
