I am pleased to report that the explosion at a Catalan chemical plant has not been shown to be connected in any way to the Spanish threat to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders.

The following video footage intrigues me!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVjlGfp6UfE
As always I ask the question, "How did it come to be taken and by whom?
The camera appears to be an in-situ security 'HD-IPC', time and date stamped one. It could be that its location and direction were set to capture the foreground of shops, car park and loading area and that it was just fortuitous that it captured the explosion.
However what appears strange is that 1:11 in and at 18:41:51 on the time stamp, the view is momentarily adjusted upwards to follow the explosive cloud rising up into the air and then immediately pans right facing a wall reveal.
In other words it must have been under the control of someone, someone who changed the direction of the camera, first up and then right. This then was not an automatic fixed camera, but a controlled, viewed and adjustable unit, which raises the question, Why?
Further in this case what was the reason for turning it away after the initial explosion?
Surely any genuine security personnel would have kept it trained on the scene, in case of any further explosions or other events that might prove of forensic value.
It appears the footage is specifically organised to capture the explosion itself and nothing more. If so it is very suspicious.
That the explosion itself was a cause of the movement, is ruled out by the fact that the vibration is actually recorded at 0:24 in or 18:41:03 on the time stamp but that it does not affect the direction of view.
Apparently the explosion is the subject of a Police and Health and Safety investigation resulting from a Court Order. Perhaps one of the first issues that should be inquired into, is who was in charge of that CCTV so conveniently capturing the incident and why it was turned away from the scene after only one minute twelve seconds?
It may, as in many other cases, it indicate someone aware that an explosion was about to happen and even implicated in its cause!

Tarragona
The first explosion took place at 6.40pm on Tuesday at the company plant in the Tarragona neighborhood of Torreforta, inside La Canonja Petrochemical Park, which is also home to Dow Chemicals Ibérica and the oil and gas multinational Cepsa. There was a second blast at a transformation station located at the plant, said the Catalan head of interior affairs, Miquel Buch.
“The first thing I thought of was the ETA bomb of 1987,” said Antonio Carmona, who was at a hardware store four kilometers from the site, alluding to an attack on the Enpetrol refinery by the now-defunct Basque terrorist group. “People panicked. We know what it means to live in Vilaseca, but if it had been a chemical explosion, something serious would have happened, because alarms did not go off for 20 or 30 minutes. People were scared and there was a lack of information.”
The approximately 8,000 residents of Torreforta are accustomed to the wails of emergency sirens once a year, when a chemical accident drill takes place. On Tuesday, after hearing two explosions, neighbors were puzzled at the lack of official messages.
But residents of an apartment building on García Lorca square heard something more: the floor cracking inside a third-story home that came crashing down on Sergio, who lived directly below.

On Wednesday, the mayor of Tarragona, Pau Ricomà, confirmed that the “most likely hypothesis” behind the death of Sergio was a panel that flew off the reactor that exploded. The piece of metal, measuring 122 by 165 by three centimeters, and weighing a ton, caused the collapse of the apartment, which came crashing down on Sergio below.
“A ball of fire” is the most commonly used description by eyewitnesses. Some said they saw an orange-hued object fly over the inner courtyard and hit the third-floor wall. “It was like a bomb,” said Antonia Mora, who lives on the first floor and who ran out thinking there had been a gas leak.
A father of two, Sergio was home alone because his wife had just gone out for a stroll with one of their young grandchildren. He was killed inside his bedroom.

A large metal plate launched by an explosion at a chemical plant in Spain's autonomous Catalonia region killed a man 3km (two miles) away.
The man, named only as Sergio, was in his apartment when the one tonne object struck, causing part of the building to collapse, officials have confirmed.
A factory employee was also killed in Tuesday's blast. Another worker died from injuries on Wednesday.
The explosion occurred at about 18:40 local time (17:40 GMT) in La Canonja.
Authorities said it was probably caused by a chemical accident, but that no toxic substances were released.
Firefighters later confirmed that this was a metal plate from the factory site, which they said weighed about a tonne.

Residents of the Plaça García Lorca housing estate in nearby Torreforta, where the man was killed, described seeing "a ball of fire" stream across the sky at the time of the incident. Local resident Antonia Mora told Spanish newspaper El Pais "it was like a bomb".
Witnesses described seeing a large object hit the building, causing damage to the exterior.
Dozens of firefighters worked through the night and into Wednesday to tackle the blaze at the Industrias Químicas del Óxido de Etileno plant.
A reporter for Spanish public broadcaster RTVE, Jesús Navarro, tweeted an image showing a mangled structure at the factory site.

Spain issues arrest warrant for Israeli PM Netanyahu
Joe Wallace
NEWSWIRE
17 November 2015
ASpanish judge has released an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the 2010 Freedom Flotilla attack, the Latin American Herald Tribune reported on Monday.
The case concerns the storming of the Turkish Mavi Marmara ship, the largest in the flotilla, by Israeli soldiers in May 2010. Ten Turkish human rights activists were killed. The flotilla was trying to break Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip and provide aid to its inhabitants.
According to the report, Judge Jose de la Mata has ordered the police and civil guard to alert him if Mr. Netanyahu or any of six former Israeli officials enter Spain, an eventuality that could reopen a case against them concerning the attack. These officials are former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Lieberman, Defence Minister Moshe Ya’alon, former Minister of Internal Affairs Eli Yishai, Minister without Portfolio Benny Begin and Vice Admiral Eliezer Marom, who was in charge of the operation.
“We consider it to be a provocation,” Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Emmanuel Nachshon said at the weekend. “We are working with the Spanish authorities to get it cancelled. We hope it will be over soon.”
The attack provoked international outrage and severely strained Israeli-Turkish relations, though in 2013 Mr. Netanyahu apologised to the Turkish people for “any errors that could have led to loss of life”. Israel maintains that the activists were linked with the Muslim Brotherhood and that the soldiers, who descended onto the ship from helicopters, tried peacefully to take control of it but acted in self defence after being attacked.

The case – which was put on hold by Judge de la Mata last year – was brought against the men following an attack by Israeli security forces against the Freedom Flotilla aid ships in 2010, which was trying to reach Gaza.
It concerns the Mavi Marmara ship, the main civilian vessel in a fleet of six that were attempting to break an Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. The six ships were carrying around 500 passengers, humanitarian aid and construction materials. The Israeli Defence Force stormed the ship in a raid that left nine human rights activists dead. A tenth activist died later that month due to wounds.
An Israeli foreign ministry spokesperson Emmanuel Nachshon told the Jerusalem Post: “We consider it to be a provocation. We are working with the Spanish authorities to get it cancelled. We hope it will be over soon.”

Spain issues arrest warrant for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu over 2010 Gaza flotilla attack
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and seven other former and current government officials are at risk of arrest if they set foot in Spain, after a Spanish judge effectively issued an arrest warrant for the group, it has been reported.
According to the Latin American Herald Tribune, Spanish national court judge Jose de la Mata ordered the police and civil guard to notify him if Mr Netanyahu and the six other individuals enter the country, as their actions could see a case against them regarding the Freedom Flotilla attack of 2010 reopened.
The other men named in the issue are former defence minister Ehud Barak, former foreign minister Avigdor Leiberman, former minister of strategic affairs Moshe Yaalon, former interior minister Eli Yishai, minister without portfolio Benny Begin and vice admiral maron Eliezer, who was in charge of the operation.
