Britain pre and post BALFOUR, imposes a special and unique obligation on Britain to protect the lives of Palestinians.
Instead it has shamefully supported the aggressor rather than the persecuted and subjucated.
Balfour specifically backed a jewish homeland on condition the rights of the resident population were not infringed.
This was immediately and outrageously contavened by the Nabka and subsequent actions, yet the world (UN) created an 'Israel', but has failed to do the same for the Palestinian people.
The horrendous consequnces of that are partly down to Britain, America and the UN generally.
For that reason, it is well beyond time the international community took its responsibilities and adopted resolutions and treaties seriously and INTERVENED militarily to protect the defenceless and attacked, to stop the slaughter and destruction to provide some measure of protection and relief for our fellow humans.
Stopping arms supply to Israel and ostracising it diplomatically and economically, are important objectives but the PRIORITY is a permanent cessation of bombing and a permanent withdrawal from the territory, with associated humanitarian aid, rescue and treatment of the physically and mentally scarred in their thousands.
America and the world has allowed this heinous crime by Israel. Now it MUST put a stop to it.
Britain is sick of the Starmer/Lammy prevarication and complicity, in order to keep America and Israel happy.
If they find it impossible to act honourably, let them be replaced by someone who can.
And the sooner the better.

30.5.2025: It's taken long enough to come to that obvious conclusion. Unfortunately it hasn't (stopped) and even now the USA is supplying more bombs and bullets to kill children and others, and is pussy footing around Israel starving people and making Gaza uninhabitable, so that they can clear them all out somewhere - anywhere. We all know the West and other nations, whilst expressing condemnation, have actually colluded in this outrage. We have seen people like Piers Morgan jump ship and there has been a shift of emphasis at the BBC, but it takes more than interviewers and news channels to change things for people on the ground. Words however welcome, can never be enough. Israel needs to be told to stop and if America won't do it, who will? Apparently Netanyahu has been taken to hospital and criticism of him has become public, ref. Ehud Olmert's recent comments. If the army and secret service turn against him he's finished, but there is little sign of an humanitarian leader emerging or that approach gaining any significant support. 1900 BC: Abraham chosen by God as the Father of the Jewish Nation.

After that, the people were captives to the Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Crusaders. Through all of these events, the Jewish people continued to live in Israel. There were more or less of them, depending on the centuries, but there was never a time when the Jews didn't live in the land. They stayed, they built their communities, they raised their families, practiced their faith and they suffered at the hands of many outside rulers, but they always kept their faith. It is what sustains them, even now.
In 1948, the UN established the State of Israel, the nation of Jews. Don't buy the Palestinian lies that they are entitled to the land. It simply is not true. Yahweh will also provide a way for his chosen people to live in Israel, as He has for thousands of years. Pray for the people of Israel.

In other words for 1,878 years (or2,078 in total) it was NOT the jewish homeland or state. Pre Assyian Empire, Jewish control of various area was tenuous and temporary at best. (The mind boggles at what the geo-political map of the world would be if if the same historical criteria were applied!) The claim to ownership is rooted more in mythology than law. It's implementation in only the last seventy years or so has definitely been ILLEGAL. Certainly from the recent past, the political regime has proved itself a brutal terrorist regime both at home and abroad, that negates ANY moral claim of control of its own country or others.
