To those used to hearing from me or expecting a reply on Facebook as Tim Veater (https://www.facebook.com/I have to apologise. I am unable to comment or reply to posts or personal messages, because whoever is responsible for such things at that organisation, has decided to block me for thirty days.

This is because they allege in one of my posts, I have broken their 'community standards'. It is not an isolated incident. It has occured twice previously.

In fact, it results from criticism I made of Israel on Israel-critical posts by others. More specifically, Israel's policy recently implemented, of shooting to kill or injure, unarmed civilians and of firing on unarmed fishermen in their boats, for fishing outside an arbitrarily imposed six mile fishing limit.

Despite comparatively moderate language, this was considered a breach of its 'community standards'. In reality it is evidence that Face book censors criticism of Israel; that evil actions by that state, that would not be tolerated in any other, cannot be condemned on the Facebook platform without risk of exclusion.

Quite contrary to its claim of allowing free speech, incidentally guaranteed by the American Constitution, it uses these and other devious methods to prevent well-deserved criticism of Israel.

How can this not be viewed as part of an international effort by western governments, implemented by the media giants, to impose a covert and pernicious system of censorship and mind control on its users and wider population, directed towards limiting criticism of the evil policy emanating from Israel and conversely supportive of world-wide Zionism?

Can anyone explain why, amazingly, no alleged Hamas 'rockets' were fired during the 'Eurovision' spectacular????? Suggestions have been made this was because the Israel Government bribed them. An alternative interpretation and explanation might be that 'Hamas' is actually controlled by Israel and used merely for propaganda purposes and to justify its unjustifiable bombing and killing.

Israel kills Gaza protesters as UN body condemns “unlawful” force

Gaza’s health ministry identified the Palestinians slain on Friday as 29-year-old Nidal Abd al-Karim Ahmad Shatat, shot in the chest, and 24-year-old Jihad Munir Khalid Harara, shot in the head.
Israel directly targeted medics and ambulances with gas grenades during Friday’s demonstrations, the ministry stated.
Around 190 Palestinians were injured during Friday’s protests, more than half of them by live fire, according toAl Mezan, a human rights group in Gaza. Two were critically injured, the health ministry said.
Four journalists were hit by tear gas canisters and live fire while covering the protests, according to Al Mezan.
Nearly 200 Palestinians have been killed during the Great March of Return mobilizations, including 41 children, two women, two journalists, three paramedics and eight persons with a disability, Al Mezan said.

The Israeli government continued to enforce severe and discriminatory restrictions on Palestinians’ human rights; restrict the movement of people and goods into and out of the Gaza Strip; and facilitate the unlawful transfer of Israeli citizens to settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces stationed on the Israeli side of the fences separating Gaza and Israel responded to demonstrations for Palestinian rights on the Gaza side with excessive lethal force. Between March 30 and November 19, security forces killed 189 Palestinian demonstrators, including 31 children and 3 medical workers, and wounded more than 5,800 with live fire. Demonstrators threw rocks and “Molotov cocktails,” used slingshots to hurl projectiles, and launched kites bearing incendiary materials, which caused significant property damage to nearby Israeli communities, and, in at least one instance, fired towards soldiers. Officers repeatedly fired on protesters who posed no imminent threat to life, pursuant to expansive open-fire orders from senior officials that contravene international human rights law standards. In May, the United Nations Human Rights Council set-up a commission of inquiry to investigate the events in Gaza, with a view to identifying those responsible, including in the chain of command, and ensuring accountability.
The Israeli army also launched intermittent air and artillery strikes in the Gaza Strip, killing 37 Palestinians between March 30 and November 19, including at least five civilians. Palestinian armed groups fired 1138 rockets and mortars indiscriminately toward Israel from Gaza as of November 13, according to the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, a major increase over previous years, killing one person and injuring at least 40, including civilians.

An Israeli settler set fire to a field in Burin

JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Israel Defense Forces cut down the fishing zone for fishermen off the coast of the Gaza Strip in response to incendiary balloons sent from Gaza that sparked several fires in southern Israel.
The move appears to be retaliation for attacks by Gaza residents that causes at least six blazes in Israeli Gaza-border communities on Wednesday. Israel’s Fire and Rescue Services reported 11 fires in the region as Israel endures a heat wave.
Wednesday night’s decision, restricting the Gaza fishing zone to 10 nautical miles, came a day after the zone had been increased to 15 nautical miles. The zone has been as small as six nautical miles, and before the second intifada began in 2000 it was as large as 28 nautical miles.

Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen, on Friday morning.
Locals reported that Israeli naval boats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of the northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported, according to Ma’an.
The Israeli army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas, if they approach the buffer zone, as authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.
The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land, and sea blockade for 10 years.
