With over 80 cases of admitted interference in the elections of other countries, not only is this US/Russia meme a charade, it is blatant hypocrisy. For some reason, and we must assume it was not an honourable one, the American Deep State wanted the corrupt Clintons back in the White House, and still haven't come to terms with the fact that they didn't manage it. This seems to be the only explanation why the present incumbent is subject to continuous scrutiny and blather, whilst the former ones lead a charmed, unimpeachable life.

What do the allegations of Russian manipulation actually amount to? Meanwhile the much more serious allegation of a "quid pro quo" deal giving Russia ownership of one-fifth of U.S. uranium deposits in exchange for $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation goes completely un-investigated. How do you explain THAT?

What actually 'did it' for Clinton was the clinging stench of corruption and illegality that her denials only compounded. Most recently and specifically was the damning evidence thrown up by 'Pizzagate' and the Podesta's involvement in it. Also largely ignored by the prosecution authorities notice.

It can be no accident that John Podesta has now reemerged leader of the anti-Trump vanguard calling him a 'draft-dodger' for not doing more to combat 'information warfare' coming from the Russians. See: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5406749/Podesta-calls-Trump-draft-dodger-Russia.html

I am no great admirer of Trump and his attributes (if he has any worthy ones) but even I can see he won largely by default and the fact that the American people decided almost anything was preferable to more of the Clintons and what they represented.
