Some initial observations.

"Summer Caddel told ABC that her boyfriend, Johnnie Langendorff, “called her moments after the shooting at First Baptist Church and told her that he saw a gunfight between the shooter and a neighbor, who was returning fire.”" So that's not secondhand hearsay but third hand. Not I think the most reliable. Devin (so close to 'Devil') Kelly either shot himself or was shot by the 'neighbour', not now it seems the police. This and some of the images from the scene raise questions. But hey, who knows, the official version may be accurate and truthful? But after Las Vegas and New York, don't hold your breath.

Strange bed-fellows?

In this report Johnnie Langendorff's role is subtly different notice. In this he joins the anonymous stranger in the chase. In this version he does not witness it, he is clearly part of it!

"The local citizen and another man, Johnnie Langendorff, who happened to be driving past the church, pursued the suspect, who ran off the road and crashed and was found deceased in his vehicle. " 

This may not be significant but I am always interested in apparent contradictions in the narrative as they can easily point to something more important awry.

"Johnny Langendorff, who he said pursued a suspect of a deadly church shooting, waits to be picked up from the scene where the suspect was found dead near the intersection of FM 539 and Sandy Elm Road in Guadalupe County, Texas, Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017."

Now check out the image of the abandoned vehicle. 

Langendorff says he came off the road because he couldn't make the sharp corner. In no way does the location of the vehicle support that. If anything it appears to have gone straight into the field. 

But very strangely there is no evidence by way of skid marks or damage to the verge or hedge to support that possibility either. 

Then we are told Kelly is found dead in his car - from what cause is not given. So you then have to reconcile the location of the vehicle to the death of its driver because a truck cannot drive on its own can it? Was he dead before the vehicle came to a halt or after it? 

Each needs a different explanation. 

Then we have this little problem: Kelly was said to drop his weapon as he left the church. If so with what weapon did he exchange fire? And if he did indeed shoot himself he also needed another weapon not so far reported. Watch this space!

Note absence of any sign of route taken or reason why vehicle drove off road at this point.

Not very convincing to me. So in this account he's driving past and sees the exchange of fire.

Then, "A citizen of the community" "Someone you knew?"

"No I didn't know him at all - he was just a member of the community."

So the obvious question: If he didn't know the man at all how could he be so sure he was a citizen of the community. Strange turn of phrase and in such a small community where virtually everyone must recognise one another?

Now BBC is reporting that, "He did what he had to do" NOT the gunman he gave a lift to.

Not only is Langendorff being made out to be the hero, he now appears to be suggesting he was Kelly's killer, although how it fits with how the vehicle ended up where it did is not at all clear.

The "required" HERO now apparently (via BBC News) accepting responsibility for death of Kelly. "I did what I had to do."

So should I suggest a possible different scenario based on previous documented cases? I can certainly think of one! No. You must do the thinking for yourselves.
